Pay What You Can

FoCo Cafe provides nutritious and delicious meals to the people of Fort Collins regardless of their ability to pay while using mostly local, organic, and sustainably grown ingredients.
FoCo Cafe is the first nonprofit restaurant in Fort Collins. Cafe patrons set the price for cafe cuisine in this pay-what-you-can setting. Instead of a cash register, a donation box is on the counter. If you can give more, please pay it forward. If you have a little less, pay what you can. If your pockets are empty, participate in community with your time and talent in exchange for a mouth-watering meal. Daily menu selections are made primarily using fresh, locally grown ingredients, and funded by the donations of patrons donating for their meals.

Backpacks

Supplemental Food for the Weekend

Launched by Feeding America in 1995, the Backpack program is administered through the Food Bank and provides children in need with a weekend food pack filled with nutritious, non-perishable items. Schools refer children in need to the program. Each bag consists of at least one main meal per day, breakfast items, peanut butter, milk and snacks to get the children through the weekend. Items are easy to open, heat and consume, even for a small child.

Backpack Partners: McKinney (PSD Schools) and Loveland Rotary (Thompson School District).

Meals on Wheels                                       Cafe Lunch Service                                  Grocery Shopping Program

Homebound individuals age 60+ are eligible to participate in the Meals on Wheels program. In specific circumstances, other individuals may qualify for services. To find out if you are eligible, please contact their office. There is no charge for receiving this service, however each month an opportunity to donate is provided to program participants.

VOA's Seniors' Nutrition Program provides nutritious meals, access to community resources and positive social interaction at Smiling Spoon Cafés throughout Larimer County.

Each meal consists of an entrée and the accompaniments such as vegetables, fruits, breads, milk, etc. that provide at least one-third of the recommended daily nutrients for older adults. The meals are low in fat, cholesterol and sodium, and provide the nutrition older adults need without the additional calories.

Anyone 60+ years or older is eligible to participate in the program. In specific circumstances, other individuals qualify for services.

The Grocery Shopping Program assists Fort Collins and Loveland seniors and adults with disabilities by doing the weekly grocery shopping and delivery for you. Order weekly, every other week, or once a month, it’s up to you. Volunteers deliver your groceries to your door and might even have time for a short visit.
