How many servings of fruits & vegetables should adults eat each day?
5 total: 2 cups fruit + 3 cups of veggies
A measure of 1 cup is dependent on the fruit or vegetable, but generally, a whole fruit like an apple or orange is considered 1 cup. Berries and grapes can be measured out in a dry measuring cup. Dried fruit lacks the water and is doubled in nutrition, so you only need a 1/2 cup to equate to a normal cup of hydrated fruit.
