Happy (finally) Spring! The sunny weather is boosting moods everywhere, so here are some wonderful end-of-March and early April meal deals to keep the smiles bright.

Tempeh Tuesdays at Avogadro’s Number

Free Cone Day at Ben and Jerry's

Stop by Ben & Jerry’s on Tuesday April 9th for a free sweet treat to go along with a day of shopping, a perfect end to date night, or a quick study break. Ben & Jerry’s is giving away free cones in celebration of National Free Cone Day.

The event runs from 12pm-8pm, so there is plenty of time to stop in and grab any cone of your choice! However, free ice cream sparks a lot of excitement in a college town, so we recommend leaving plenty of time to indulge in your sweet tooth.

75c Oysters at JAX Fish House and Oyster Bar

All month long JAX has been celebrating Oyster Month by putting on special events and deals on oysters. Just in case you have missed a few of these events, the last event of the month is on March 31st. There will be select 75 cent oysters all night long, so head over and celebrate National Oyster Month with JAX.

CSU Mobile Pantry

Thursday, April 4. 4-6pm, University Ave. (outside Hartshorn)

CSU and the Food Bank for Larimer County will be hosting their monthly Mobile Pantry on campus. Anyone with a CSU ID is eligible to pick up free groceries. Bring your ID and bags, and if you have any questions, read our blog about using the pantry for the first time here.

Spring Soiree at FoCo Cafe

Friday April 12th, 6pm-8pm at Everyday Joe's Coffee House

FoCo Cafe is hosting their annual Spring Soiree on Friday April 12th. This event is in a few weeks, which allows for plenty of time to get tickets and reserve a spot on your calendar!

Tickets to the benefit are $40 and include special plates from many local eateries such as Stuft, Ginger & Baker, The Waffle Lab and more! Drinks will also be provided by Odell Brewing, Wunder Juice, Life’s a ‘Buch Kombucha, and Wilbur’s Total Beverage.

CSU Mobile Pantry

Thursday, April 4th, 4pm-6pm

The next CSU Mobile Pantry date is next Thursday, April 4th. This event takes place on West University Ave, next to the Lory Student Center and Morgan Library parking lot. Any person with a valid CSU ID (can be student, faculty, staff) is eligible to receive food. Make sure to bring some bags to transport all the yummy food available!
